Dr. Winojith Sanjeewa is a distinguished academic and educator, currently serving as
Lecturer in Marketing at York St John University. He is also the Course Leader for the Events
and Experience Management BA (Hons), where he plays a pivotal role in shaping curriculum
and guiding students toward successful careers in the creative and service industries.
With over 17 years of teaching experience across the UK, India, and Sri Lanka, Dr. Sanjeewa
brings a rich international perspective to his work. His academic journey is equally diverse,
holding a PhD from the University of Leeds, a BA from the University of Peradeniya, and an
MA in Applied Theatre from York St John University. This interdisciplinary foundation
informs his innovative approach to teaching and research, blending marketing theory with
cultural and social insight.
Dr. Sanjeewa’s expertise spans marketing, events, hospitality, and tourism management, with
a particular focus on social media, content branding, customer experience, and the
intersections of identity, inclusion, and heritage. His research interests are deeply rooted in the
lived experiences of marginalised communities, especially within BMEA (Black and Minority
Ethnic and Asian) and LGBTQ+ contexts.
Ir. Yelna Yuristiary, IPM is a construction professional with over a decade of international experience in civil and marine infrastructure projects across Asia and Africa. She is currently in-charge on the quality management activities for a major international megaproject in Madagascar. Her professional and research interests span project and quality management, risk and contract management, safety, environmental management, FIDIC contracts, and concrete technology, with a particular focus on marine construction. She is also developing the (PRIME)² Framework, a conceptual framework that she aims to further investigate and advance through ongoing research and professional practice.
Dr. Faten Aouay holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Economics, awarded jointly by the University of Sfax in Tunisia and the University of Western Brittany in France. She is currently an Assistant Professor of Economics at the Faculty of Economics and Management, University of Sfax, Tunisia. Her research interests encompass environmental economics, the circular economy, eco-innovation, and sustainable development.
Dr. Mohammed Kher Raad is currently the CEO of Al Ankabout Company for Remittances. He is also an international lawyer with over 16 years of experience in delivering effective legal advice on business-related matters. In 2021, he earned an MBA from Heriot-Watt University and is now pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) at Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University. His research focuses on the complex dynamics of organizational behavior within private Syrian companies, particularly Al Ankabout Company. He is known for his ambition and dedication to advancing the business field, especially in areas related to legal affairs. He firmly believes that teamwork is the cornerstone of inspiration, motivation, innovation, and success. He regards his colleagues as true reflections of his professional journey. In his experience with business training, he emphasizes that quality is paramount, as it consistently leads to improved outcomes.
Dr. Bashar Shirinov Habib Oglu received a bachelor’s degree in “Management” in 2001, a master’s degree in 2003, and defended his candidate’s thesis on “Ways to increase the efficiency of using working capital in construction enterprises of Azerbaijan” in 2016. In 2017, he received the title of Doctor of Philosophy in sectoral economics, and in 2024, he received the title of associate professor in sectoral economics. Since 2003, he has been working as an assistant, senior lecturer, and associate professor at the “Business Economics and Management” department of the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction.
Dr. Meryem Gharmili is a second-year doctoral student at Moulay Ismail University in Meknes, following the completion of a Master’s degree in Financial Management and Accounting from the National School of Commerce and Management. She also serves as a senior executive at the Ministry of Finance. Her research focuses on comparing classical econometric models with deep learning methods for dynamic asset allocation, as well as evaluating the robustness, interpretability, and governance of financial algorithms. Passionate about sustainable finance, teaching, and mentoring young researchers, she frequently speaks at academic conferences and leads workshops on the application of AI in finance.
Mrs. Dihya Hessas is currently pursuing two doctoral degrees: one in management at Laval University (Canada) and another in strategic management at Mouloud Mammeri University of Tizi Ouzou (Algeria). Her research focuses on change management during the integration of information and communication technologies (ICT) in Algerian organizations, as well as the role of emotions in the adoption of artificial intelligence in human resource management. She has received multiple academic honors, including excellence scholarships from Laval University and the Algerian Ministry of Higher Education. Ranked first in her Master’s program, she brings a rigorous, cross-cultural perspective to digital transformation and organizational behavior.
Ms. Annisa Salma Fauziyah is a Master’s student in Management Science at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada. She has worked as a research correspondent and data enumerator on studies related to financial and organizational issues in rural cooperatives, as well as food security during the COVID-19 pandemic, in collaboration with UGM, FAO, BAPPENAS, and IPB University. With a keen interest in development research and data analysis, Annisa brings field experience and academic insight to her work. She is also a teaching assistant, supporting practical and tutorial sessions in management and economics.
Mr. Hatim El Maaddem is a Ph.D. candidate in Economic and Management Sciences at LERSEM, ENCG El Jadida, Chouaib Doukkali University. He holds dual Master’s degrees in Digital Marketing & Communication and Marketing & Sales Management. Currently Marketing Manager at a French Tech Next40 company, Hatim’s research focuses on entrepreneurship, innovation, and digital transformation. Actively involved in academic research, he contributes to studies in economic and management sciences. Passionate about bridging theory and practice, Hatim aims to make impactful contributions while continually expanding his knowledge.
